Raul was great! No problems.

* Housing:

Muchy was great as well! I could not have had a better living situation. Conveniently located as well.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I did not have any health issues. I had a cold at one point but it was nothing to serious.

* Safety:

I had no problems with safety but I had some friends that ran into issues. If you are smart and read the materials given to you before you depart for the country you can avoid dangerous situations.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

There are a couple of expenses in the beginning to take care of it but it's not so bad. Mostly it was spending money on food and the occasional trip outside the city.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? $60
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Use your loose change that you have. The public bus (colectivo) is cheaper than the subway (subte). A lot of times the train is free and if not it is very cheap.

0 = No encouragement, 5 = frequent encouragement to use the language

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? Intermediate
How would you rate your language skills at the end of the program? Advanced
What was the highest level language course you had completed prior to departure? Advanced A course
How many hours per day did you use the language?
Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Just use the language as much as possible and get involved in things outside of school like sports teams, clubs, etc.

Comments: This class was challenging but the teacher went at the right speed for the students. I have never been a big fan of literature but this professor was definitely my favorite one.
