I absolutely loved my host mom, Clarissa, she was so kind and incredibly thoughtful!!

All of the different cultural activities really helped me to feel more immersed in the culture.

I loved everything about the trip: the school, the food, the activities, the excursions, I liked it all!!!!

Going to cafes/bookstores/markets/basically anywhere where you interact with locals so you not only have to communicate with them but also to become more accustomed to how Argentinians speak.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • Excursions (gaucho ranch and Uruguay in particular)
  • Cultural activities (mate club!!)
  • Museums
* What could be improved?
  • A little more guidance on navigating the city, it gets confusing the first few days because of the lack of street signs!
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? The city is difficult to navegate and it's easy to get turned around. Always have a map on you as well as a phone in case the map is too old fashioned!!
