Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

You simply cannot beat classes with local spanish speaking students! We not only improved our grammatical understanding of spanish through writing, presentations, etc. but through speaking with students your age we gained knowledge of the local dialect furthering our abilities to communicate with all of the locals.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Living at the Pucon Kayak Hostel provided the perfect setting for our program. Lots of regional and international travelers moved through the Hostel, further enriching the experience and providing us opportunities to make friends and kayak partners from across the world!

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Cultural Integration was amazing in this program. From local community service projects, studying at the local university, and making friends and spending time with local peers, I felt like I could actively participate as a member of the community.
