I grew a lot both in my Spanish experience and as a person. I really learned what it means to be Pura Vida. It was one of the greatest times of my life!

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The classes I took through SOL (Advanced Spanish I and II, Civilization) were mainly discussion based. This allowed us to practice a lot of Spanish and not be too overwhelmed with lengthy homework assignments. My classes with locals (Theater and Administration) were more challenging, but definitely worth it (also a great way to meet more locals). |

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | I had a really hard time choosing a program - I went through websites and brochures for months and months. I think it is good to find a program that suits your needs but also just to make whatever place you choose your own. I would say that I was extremely impressed by SOL and would recommend it to anyone! |
