What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Oh, of course, it was absolutely worth awhile! There are no words. I wish I was still there.

There's really nothing more the program could do--they do a wonderful job! It's just an international city with lots of crime. They do an excellent job establishing rules and boundaries before anyone has a chance to cross them.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I saw how much money my friends lost on wasteful things--unnecessary luxuries and leisure activities (alcohol included).

0 = No encouragement, 5 = frequent encouragement to use the language

They did everything they could do short of requiring it. Simply, the students often times did not desire to embrace it.

How many hours per day did you use the language?
Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? USE IT. And get out there in the community. There is no other way.
