What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned a lot about Costa Rica and some Spanish. It was very interesting to live with a host family

the textbook we got was great. The classes were very conversational and I was looking for my grammar intensive, because I had only one year of Spanish experience prior

I got a bite on my toe that became infected. Orlando (the assisstant director) took me to the pharmacy when we went to San Jose. Maria (the program director) was very nice about it, made an appointment and took me to the doctor. tHE doctor's office was clean and the doctor was nice and spoke English. He cleaned my toe and wrote me an antibiotic. My toe was better within a day

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I spent about 100 because I had to go to the doctor, but about 60 per week otherwise
