Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Before I went abroad to Costa Rica I had little to no expectation. In reality, I was not particularly excited about going. I was just going to learn spanish and leave. However, once I arrived in Costa Rica I was greeted by two of the Sol Directors. Instantly, all my anxieties were washed away and I was excited to be there. Within the first week my spanish knowledge increased dramatically. The directors constantly were providing opportunities to explore the Costa Rican culture and practice my spanish. They challenged me inside the classroom, but more importantly outside of the classroom. Truly, Sol is a family. The directors and other students were always there for me through good and difficult times. If you don't choose to study abroad through Sol, you are missing out on an experience that will change your life completely.
