What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
A lot of people who you assume would care about you don’t, and a lot of people who you assume would not do care. I would have rather learned that a different way.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

I did very little with the program beyond the first three weeks and I felt the program’s student support structure was deeply lacking.

In SOL activities, there was little encouragement to use the language; however, in classes and with my host family, the language was almost exclusively used.
