Study Abroad Programs in Czech Republic
I loved Prague, just go with another program!
Personal Information
| How much international exposure did you have prior to this program? | 1 month - 6 months |
Review Your Program
| * Overall educational experience Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. | It was too much. I studied abroad to meet other students to travel with and to enjoy a relaxed learning experience. This was not the case, the courses were intensive. |
| * Host Country Program Administration On-site administration of your program | The program leader was only interested in her goals of the program, and did not care about our comments or concerns. |
| * Housing: How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? | The dorm was nice, but isolated from all other students. It was difficult to make friends not living close and not having classes with other students. |
| * Food: | There was no food plan. |
| * Social & Cultural Integration: How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
 |
| * Health Care: How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
 |
| * Safety: |
 |
| If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? | No
 |
Finances
| * Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget? (1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
 |
Language
| * Did your program have a foreign language component? | Yes |
| Language acquisition improvement? | Learning Czech was fun! Many people in Prague do speak English but it is def beneficial to know a little of the language. |

| * Who did you live with? Select all that apply |
 |
A Look Back
| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | Only do this program if you want very small class sizes (3 students taking class together, and living together), a hard curriculum compared to other study abroad programs, and a thesis paper with portfolio recording everything you learned the semester. |
