I lived with Americans, so I did not get as much exposure as some might with a host family. However, I did get a chance to integrate as I lived in the city. |

The Oxford Program was one of the best decisions I made in my collegiate career. It was academically difficult and stretched me in ways that I did not know was possible. It has influenced my decisions about my future, and I will be forever changed by it |
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
One could have lived on $50 income. However, I chose to spend more on coffee shops and eating out. |
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | $80-100/ week |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | It depends on what one wants out of one's experience. I decided to spend more because I wanted to have good experience with my friends and spend time outside the library. |

The Academic or LinguistYou went abroad with specific academic goals in mind; the program credentials and rigor of your coursework abroad were very important to you. You had a great time abroad, but never lost sight of your studies and (if applicable) were diligent with your foreign language study. Good for you! |
