Study Abroad in Germany! Programs and Reviews!

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
My experience abroad was out of this world! I have made memories that I will forever hold close to my heart. I definitely gained self independence during my time abroad. Coming to a foreign country completely by myself was a huge leap for me and I hope to do it again someday soon. Being abroad you also learn to truly appreciate other cultures through your travels.

Heidelberg is quite small and there isn't a huge population of young people. That being said making friends outside of the program was harder because there wasn't many options, plus Germans are socially very reserved.
