What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
yes, i learned how to appreciated more the things i have because many of the people in Nicaragua do not have anything. This made me more humble and i learned a lot about Nicaragua and also about the students and faculties, i really liked this program and if i can i would do it again.

this program is a serving learning we did not take any class at Nicaragua.

it was very organized and the program was very helpful. i enjoyed it a lot.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

it was ok <br /><br /> the housing was not the best due to the fact we were in a very poor country.

* Food:

the food was good, very different from what i'm use to but i still liked it

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

i had the change to go to different parts of Nicaragua and i enjoyed going out with my group.

we were safe all the time because we were never alone.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? you need to be open mind and very willing to embrace their culture. sometimes students go to other countries with high expectations and don't forget this is a very poor country.
