The most amazing and worthwhile, yet difficult experience I've ever had! BYU in Iasi Past Review
By A student (FAMILY AND CONSUMER SCIENCES/HUMAN SCIENCES., Brigham Young University) - abroad from 04/24/2012 to 07/20/2012 with
Study Abroad Programs in Romania
I gained a better understanding of what it is like to like in a corrupt 2nd world country and gained a better appreciation for families. It was more than worthwhile.

I visited the doctor's office when I had a bad cold and they were very rude and gave me an expensive prescription that did not help my cold. My in-field facilitator was very helpful in taking me to the doctor and explaining what was happening, but I despise everything about the Romanian healthcare system. |

As long as we did not stay out when it became dark outside, we did not really have any problems. Future students should know to remain quiet when walking past males (no matter the age) and they will not have any problems. |
