Study Abroad Programs in Scotland
I gained a love and a knowledge for Scottish and Irish culture, a love for the freedom of travel, an admiration for people of various backgrounds, and an understanding of the importance of my home in my life. I gained maturity and life experience, as well as a greater understanding of events throughout my life.

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
This program involved a lot of fantastic reading and plenty of opportunity to provide thoughtful and creative feedback. It was never overwhelming, and the primary form of learning was always the ability to experience the places we visited. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
As a smaller study program, it was well administered by Professor and Mrs. Wickman. Resources were often limited, but as part of a small program, I never felt inhibited by this in any way. |

Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
I saved money for months before the program began. We were on our own for most meals, but money was refunded almost weekly from the program's excesses. Money was never a major issue, but I am glad I prepared financially! |
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | $110 |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Carefully budget, save up AT LEAST 80 dollars per week, plus a $200 excess fund. Travel, food, cultural experiences...the cost adds up! |
