What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was definitely a growing experience for me. It wasn't all good but the bad things taught me things I will probably need in the future so it was, in the end, an important adventure.

| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Save as much as you can beforehand so you don't feel limited. Save most of your souvenir buying to the last minute so you don't run out of money in the middle of the program. |

It was supposed to be half language, half culture, but it was probably 85% culture. Not a bad thing but that should have been explained in the application. |

| Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? | Force yourself into situations where you will have to use the language. Listen and read a lot as well. But speaking is very important. |
