Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

On-site administration of your program

While they tried their best many of the instructions are unclear and answers given were lacking. Requires a more clear way of setting up and oversight as well as better time management.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Living arrangements were as expected however there is no info for living arrangements outside of the dorm and individuals are expected to find that information themselves with little help. While it may not be a requirement it would show a better commitment to international students.

* Food:

Food options were outstanding. Difficulties arise only due to a difference in palate.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Options to better integrate are lacking. Foreign students tend to gravitate towards each other and local interaction is set to a minimum. While programs are available they are limited in space. This may be due to prevalent cultural boundaries that still continue to separate people in groups. There is also a lack of information for foreigners for local events that may give them chances to interact with locals and students and needs to be better addressed.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Health issues were taken care of promptly and on site.

* Safety:

Safety issues were of no concern.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

While there were many hardships it is still a great program to go through and one with experiences you'll never forget.

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 130
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Take the total recommended cost and add half of that on top. If the cost is 6000 make it 9000. This would better provide for food during off campus times and any shopping that an individual will want.

The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.

Comments: Outstanding course with a lot of team and class interactions in and out of the course. This course is highly desirable at the host university and seats are taken very quickly with many hoping to gain slots after classes have begun.
