What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Definitely worthwhile. I gained a better knowledge of Spanish, a better understanding of the culture, and memories that will last the rest of my life.

I guess they were good.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

One older women with adult kids out of the house. I lived with three other students. It was fantastic! <br /><br /> Loved my house.

The food was great!

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Everything was really interesting

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Madrid was very safe, just didnt like how complicated the health insurance system is through the program.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 100-200 euros, then about 100 euros later on when I ran out of money.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Traveling is expensive, but worth it.
