Yes, the study abroad experience was something I never imagined but nevertheless experiencing life in a different way is interesting. I gained a valuable experience while visiting professional companies.

Hotel <br /><br /> Hotel provided everything needed including meals. |
* Food: |
Food service in hotel was American style mixed with Indian food. Food was typically the same each day. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
The non academic portion of the study abroad is very exciting and included a lot of journeys while navigating from one place to another. |

How well were health issues addressed during the program? |

Because India is so crowded and mainly lower middle class, health issues are problematic and the number of people and traffic make the place unsafe for foreigners. |

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | SPending is fairly cheap in India as $1 = about 45 rupees. For 10 days about 200-300 dollars should be sufficient. |

The study abroad in India did not involve learning a new language because English was used, but a few Hindu words were taught to each other. |

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | Be prepared for the lifestyle and type of food. The student should be comfortable with a very congested city life. |
