Through varies courses, I was able to learn the economic developments in China. I really enjoyed the class on foreign policy because it provided me a great insight of the legal system different than that of ours. |

There was a lot of Chinese cultural shows throughout the trip. We experienced a great deal of Chinese folk cultures, music, and dance performances. |

Shenzhen is a safe place. There are an abundant of police to help in case of an emergency. |

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Spend at your own will. No advices needed since everyone is different. Just be alert and don't get scammed by local taxi drivers. Always bargain. Can email kitchow59@hotmail.com for more information. |

Comments: | Professor from Shenzhen University put a tremendous effort to teach Chinese to foreigners. Through field trip and other activities, we were able to learn Chinese under a friendly environment and stress-free setting. |

Comments: | A very interactive course on ancient style of writing. First, Prof started off with some history background of the subject, then he demonstrated the use of brush, ink stick and other tools to write Chinese characters. |
