AMAZING. <br /><br /> I lucked out and found a cheap rent, in the best part of town in one of the nicest apartments in the whole city. My private balcony could fit over a hundred people. We also had 24 hour access to gym, pool, sauna. Private from 11pm-7am. |

Eat kangaroo and crocodile. |

I met great people and had an amazing time. |

I felt safe but Melbourne has some dangerous areas. It's not uncommon to see a fight. |

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | hostel price change quickly. Food isnt cheap and the currency fluctuates a lot. |

A Look Back
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | Do it. Plan to travel on the long breaks around the East Coast of Australia. Get familiar with the cheap airlines and roughing it when you have to. |
