What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Learned all about the urban environment and the ways that the city's various organizations are attempting to deal with it's problems. Also, learned more about the culture than I ever imagined and by being forced to speak the language constantly, was able to hold conversations throughout the trip. There is no better way to learn a language.
