many issues but they were all handled excellently

* Safety:

some of the trip to Nicaragua is inherently dangerous but the program director and professor ensured our safety, you just have to listen to the guidelines

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? try to pick up their accent fast for pronunciation, keep a dictionary around, drop how you think you should be speaking (what tenses/phrases/words you're using) in favor of the way they speak to you
