SUNY Geneseo: Traveling - Mediterranean Roots Summer Program

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I made wonderful friends on this trip! I wish there were 10 stars so I could rate this program more accurately. I learned so much history from this program that I would not have otherwise cared to learn.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I continue to rave about this program because I loved learning humanities 1 in another country, I feel I got a lot of of this experience.

I loved both professors who were on the trip. They went above and beyond my expectations.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I would say be prepared with $2,000 for all expenses
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I really overprepared myself for money so I was fine. Just be sure to make your credit card companies and bank know of your leaving.
