About

IPSL programs combine academic studies and volunteer service and full cultural immersion to give students a deeper, more meaningful study abroad experience. The International Partnership for Service-Learning and Leadership (IPSL), founded in 1982, is a not-for-profit educational organization serving students, colleges, universities, service agencies, and related organizations around the world by fostering programs that link volunteer service to the community and academic study. Each location partners with a local recognized and respected college or university in the host country. The IPSL courses, combined with excursions, home stays, and the service-learning counterpart, provide for a multilayered experience. It encourages students to absorb different and diverse lifestyles and cultures, while enhancing both academic and personal growth.
