About

EICAR (École Internationale de Création Audiovisuelle et de Réalisation) is dedicated to providing its students with a well-rounded, original, and artistic background in film studies. The program offers a combination of learning the mechanics of film making using EICAR's state of the art production facilities in Paris. Courses include:
Actor Direction
Analysis of the Language of Visual Images
Cinema
Computing
Editing
Lighting and Camera Work
Post Production Techniques
Sound
Writing and Storyboard

In addition to taking film classes in either French or English, students are also required to take a French language class. EICAR students will have the opportunity to shoot their own short film at the end of the semester. Production facilities and a limited budget are provided; students may, at their own expense, produce a more elaborate film. Contact the program specialist for details.
