Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
More difficult than my home institution. Not many offerings for foreign students who wished to take elective subjects. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
Bathurst is an awesome campus, and the experience I had came from my being personable and getting to know my "dormies" This program is what YOU make of it. This is both it's geatest strength and weakness. Luckily I came out for the better in the end. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
|
* Food: |
I had to cook for myself mostly, but the dining hall was adequate. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
A lot of parties on campus, but as far as traveling, you're definitely on your own. $8 round trip coach/train Bathurst-Sydney |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
Don't walk home at night! Get a cab, ~$13 AUD. OSHC handled the few times I got sick while in Australia. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
