Students have the opportunity to earn Communication course credit while studying and traveling through Tonga and Fiji. By staying and engaging with local residents, students learn cultural patterns of communication and how to communicate appropriately cross-culturally. Typically, this trip will include outings such as caving, zip-lining, visits to places like Robinson Crusoe island and locations of historical and cultural significance, and different humanitarian projects.
