Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
I felt like I got the absolute most out of my 6 week courses! They were well done and taught in a manner that was conducive to learning that quickly. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
Everyone was kind and accommodating! |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Host family was great! Enjoyed the experience overall - it truly helped shape my experience for the better! |
* Food: |
My hosts could cook very well! Yum! |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
Felt a bit apart from the true local culture like the students were a bubble. I had very few occasions of the ability to meet florentine students and would have liked that experience. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
|
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | I'd spend about 30 euro per week on lunches |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Things cost about what they do in the states but in euro. Ex. If a sandwhih costs 5 dollars and 30 cents in the states it will cost 5.30 euro. But the conversion factor is still something to consider especially for large purchases! Don't use it as a justification of purchases either. |

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? | None |
How would you rate your language skills at the end of the program? | Beginner |
