Semi integrated, I felt like I could have spent another 3 months there and still not have seen everything.

Idk, didn’t experience any.

Very safe!

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Florence is the perfect city. Small enough to walk/bike. Great food where ever you go.

Mostly in Italian class and all the time at my host parents house. They didn’t speak English but that challenged me to learn the language even more. Google translate also helped a lot the first few weeks.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Duolingo and just trying to speak the language with your host parents a dinner and out in public when buying something.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I knew who my host parents were before going but non the less the randomness of it made the experience that much better.

Craving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals.
