Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The courses in the program were integrated with the city itself. Field trips and excursions were not only encouraged, but required. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
They were not very hands-on. Aside from my professors, I had little to no interaction with any of the program's administrators. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
There was apartment style living, however there were rules that were unfair and not fully possible. The workers at the residences had bad attitudes towards American students |
* Food: |
Food was strictly on ones own, but the food in Italy is amazing. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
|
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
|
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
No
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Language
Language acquisition improvement? |
I did not speak any Italian before I went abroad, but now I am able to speak enough to get around. |
A Look Back
