Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

During the trip, I learned so much about Chinese culture, life, and business in China. The tour guides were fantastic with leading our trip and with sharing knowledge about the places we visited.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The program administration exceeded my expectations and was extremely helpful.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The first hotel was great except it had some air conditioning issues. The second hotel was perfect and overall my housing experience was excellent.

* Food:

The food was delicious!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

The host city was very safe but no matter where you go in the world, it is wise to travel in groups.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Food and personal expenses were very affordable... Make sure you barter diligently with the sales people so you can get a great deal.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Take out more money than you want per ATM withdrawal to limit transaction fees. I made multiple withdrawals and therefore paid multiple transaction fees.
