While based in Rome, students explore one of the oldest cities in Western culture, investigate the history of Italian cinema, its influences on other cinemas and cultures, and how Italian culture is portrayed in Italian and American cinema. This program is designed to help students open themselves up to a different culture and includes family-style Italian dinners, tours of national museums, a day trip to Assisi and Perugia, the Cinecitta studios, and other opportunities that only Rome can offer.
