I am a vegetarian and being abroad I had to be flexible with seafood and not insulting my host mom's cooking. Just being open-minded, but still keeping my ways of living. |

Visiting Granada was my favorite, especially because it was with the program. |

I think health and safe issues were assessed very well. I know a student got sick on a trip to Portugal and right away he was taken to the hospital and taken care of in a timely manner. |

| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | I just had to make sure I had money when we went on trips with the program, but other than that nothing really. |

| What was the highest level language course you had completed prior to departure? | I took a Spanish exam giving me 16 credit hours before heading to Spain. |

I used it with the staff there and with my host mom, mostly. Majority of the students spoke English all the time, but once they stepped outside they turned it to Spanish. |

A Look Back
| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | Have fun with the program, but respect the professors. The professors and Dr. Inglis do an amazing job of talking with the students and being respectful. I think all students would benefit from study abroad. |
