AUR: Best Time of My Life Past Review
By Alyssa A (Fashion Merchandising, LIM College) for
The American University of Rome: Rome - Direct Enrollment & Exchange
I was able to travel to 7 countries while being here, including Italy. In these countries I saw all types of people and experienced all types of different cultures. My rating for this school is 5 stars because I met a lot of new people here and the environment at the school is great.

I was able to use my Italian but not as much as I hoped because mostly everyone at the school was American or spoke English. Also, when I tried to use my Italian for everyday interactions most people just spoke to me in English because I wasn't fluent in Italian. |

A Look Back
* What did you like most about the program? |
|
* What could be improved? |
|
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | I would tell that student to go for it. This has been the best experience of my life thus far and I would do it all over again if I could. I would also tell them to come here with an open mind and be willing to try new things, learn about new cultures and make tons of new friends! I think any student who loves to learn/try new things and meet new people would do great in a study abroad program. |
