The American University of Rome: Rome - Direct Enrollment & Exchange

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
The American University of Rome program was a close-knit community that enabled me to have relationships with my professors and classmates. It provided me with many opportunities. I learned about so many different cultures and backgrounds of people from all over the world. My favorite part about my abroad experience was having the opportunity to travel to other countries and experience that countries culture. I think this experience is something everyone should be able to do if they have the chance. Ever since coming back to America I constantly think about my experience and share stories and memories from it with friends and family. Being immersed in such a different culture was something that has changed me. It is important to be open to new things like different cultures, backgrounds of people, food, and traveling because you gain so many positive things from them.
