Take me back to Aussie! Past Review
By Samantha White (University of Hartford) - abroad from 02/17/2016 to 07/13/2016 with
The Education Abroad Network (TEAN): Brisbane - University of Queensland
What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned that stepping out your comfort zone will make you a better person. The experience was worthwhile because it gave me the ability to learn about another culture other than my own. I learned so much about people. I also learned that there is such thing as peace. Being back home in New York City and back at school in Connecticut, things begin to get chaotic and hectic. In aussie, I felt tranquil and peace while still doing well in my class. If i had the opportunity to do it all over again, I would.

Reasons For Studying Abroad
To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you. |
The Nearly Native or Trail BlazerCraving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals. You may have felt confined by your program requirements and group excursions. Instead, you'd have preferred to plan your own trips, even skipping class to conduct your own 'field work.' |
