My experience was definitely worthwhile. Stepping out of your comfort zone and being somewhere alone will definitely teach you a lot about yourself, your life and your culture.

Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
The only thing we had to purchase was our food, which could depend on how much sharing we did as a house, and how much we ate out. But being able to work while abroad also helped out a great deal! |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Be cautious of your spending, keep a balancing or check book. |
