I came back with a massively bigger understand not only of Australian culture, but of my own culture and travel in general. I got to see the comparisons of my own upbringing and other's, while gaining a larger respect for others in the process.

* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
The off campus housing option was absolutely incredibly. It was located in Broadbeach, so we were placed in an amazing location, right near the new transit system, and the beach! The housing itself was amazing, probably nicest housing I've had during my college experience. Weekly cleaning staff, amazing views, and the amenities included during out stay all added to an overall positive housing experience. |

The program did an amazing job with giving us countless opportunities to become integrated with the local culture. The multitude of events presented to us around the city were well worth trying out. By the end of the semester, I had help that I was truly comfortable and knowledgable in the Australian culture, especially within Gold Coast. |

The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
