The Education Abroad Network (TEAN): Seoul - Korea University
I loved the independence I gained from it. I rode subways by myself, learned how to coexist within a different language, and was able to try these amazing new foods and meet great new people. The friends I made from my study abroad experience I think I'll be friends with for a long time. I also gained new insight to how the other side of the world works, and learned how to live like a true Seoullite, with an easy-going vibe.

Pharmacies are easily accessible, and many of the pharmacists can understand multiple languages. If not, just try translating your symptoms and showing them in Korean on your phone. They'll be able to help. |

Seoul is super safe, and I never had a problem, at any time, in the city. |
| If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
TEAN made everything super simple, and super easy. There wasn't a time during my entire experience where I didn't feel supported, and they were always there when I needed help. |

| Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? | Ordering at restaurants is one way to practice. Try your best, and most places are accommodating to people attempting to learn the language. If not, then it's just another learning experience. |
