Anywhere Would Have Been Good, but Sydney Was Better Past Review

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
My four months in Australia were easily some of the best of my life. I was given the opportunity to learn a new city and fall in love with the amazing place that Australia is. From the beginning, the staff made me feel safe and secure, and after four months there I can say that they did more than that. I learned what it was like to fully embrace a new culture and a new language (yes, Australian English is not easy to understand at first). I learned what it was like to feel truly free for the first time in my life given that I was on the other side of the planet. Going to Australia and travelling with TEAN gave me an opportunity to learn more about myself and mature as a person. I made the friends of a lifetime in a truly magical place. It’s the experience and the trip of a lifetime and it would not have been the same if I hadn’t travelled with TEAN. It was the most worthwhile experience of my life and it is a decision I will never regret. Sydney became my home and I will always keep it in my heart.
