Incredible Experience! Past Review
By Pete (University of Arizona) - abroad from 02/09/2020 to 03/29/2020 with
The Education Abroad Network (TEAN): Wellington - Victoria University of Wellington
What made this experience worthwhile was the people I got to know. Even though my program was cut short I still made some life-long friends during my two months in NZ.

Even though my program was cut short due to COVID-19, I still had an amazing time in Wellington. The people are super friendly and Vic is a great school to study at. The city of Wellington is amazing and the food/cafe scene is incredible. Wellington is also is home to the only professional soccer team in NZ so even though rugby is king there, I highly recommend going to a Wellington Phoenix match. TEAN did an amazing job catering to the students and I always felt like if I ever needed anything I could count on them. After we had to go home early due to the pandemic, they were very transparent and made sure we got back home safe. Best part about this program is the week long orientation in Queenstown. Not only do you get a chance to get to know other students in your program, but you have the opportunity to explore one of the most beautiful places on earth. If you're thinking about studying abroad in Wellington, or anywhere in New Zealand, I highly recommend going through TEAN. |
