Experience daily life in western Germany through a 10-day homestay, where you’ll live with a host family and attend school with local students, gaining firsthand insight into German culture and community.


Travel to Luxembourg, located at the crossroads of Germany, France, and Luxembourg, to visit the historic site where the Schengen Agreement was signed. Continue to Brussels, Belgium, the heart of the European Union, where you’ll visit the European Commission and learn about the EU’s global impact.


Conclude your adventure in Berlin, Germany’s vibrant capital, exploring landmarks like the Bundestag and attending a workshop on EU governance and policy-making.

The Experiment in International Living Scholarships

The Experiment offers a discount of $500 for participants who have an immediate family member (parent/guardian, sibling, grandparent) who is an alumnus/alumna of The Experiment (including The Experiment Digital alumni) and/or for participants who are applying to participate in a second Experiment program. This discount cannot be combined with other discounts, though an applicant who receives a discount may also apply for a partial need-based scholarship.
