The Experiment provides high school students with the opportunity to explore the world, make new friends, and develop as global citizens. With nearly 100 years of experience, The Experiment’s summer abroad programs combine adventure, learning, and cultural immersion.


Travel to new countries, live with a host family, and experience everyday life in a different culture. You’ll explore global issues, build leadership skills, and gain confidence using a new language—all while discovering more about yourself and the world around you.


Whether you’re learning to cook local dishes, practicing a new language, or working on a community project, every day is an opportunity to learn by doing. The Experiment is your opportunity to form lasting connections, gain new perspectives, and experience the world as a classroom.

Statistics

The Experiment in International Living Scholarships

The Experiment offers a discount of $500 for participants who have an immediate family member (parent/guardian, sibling, grandparent) who is an alumnus/alumna of The Experiment (including The Experiment Digital alumni) and/or for participants who are applying to participate in a second Experiment program. This discount cannot be combined with other discounts, though an applicant who receives a discount may also apply for a partial need-based scholarship.
