About

Explore themes of peace and conflict resolution while experiencing South Korea’s distinct blend of modern K-pop culture and ancient traditions.

Begin in Seoul, a dynamic global city where you’ll explore Joseon Dynasty palaces and visit the DMZ to learn about the peninsula’s division and its ongoing impact. Participate in hands-on workshops focused on peacebuilding, conflict analysis, and human rights.

Immerse yourself in modern Korean culture with a K-pop dance class, basic Korean language lessons, and exchanges with local youth about life, reunification, and K-culture. Experience both modern and traditional sides of Korea with an overnight temple stay, where Buddhist monks introduce meditation and religious traditions.

During a homestay, live with a local family, share daily meals, and complete a community service project alongside Korean students. Conclude your experience back in Seoul with visits to cultural landmarks and a final reflection on your journey. Participants will earn a community service certificate recognizing their contributions and learning.
