The GREEN Program: Iceland - Sustainability and Renewable Energy Abroad

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
In these 10 days I absolutely discovered who I was and what I wanted out of life. I grew immensely as a person, making life long friends along the way. Diving right into a new country and culture can seem daunting, but what new experiences like this teach you is that there is SO much more out there then you can begin to imagine, and that life is about exploring those places and filling your soul.

Reasons For Studying Abroad

To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you.
The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
