The GREEN Program: Iceland - Sustainability and Renewable Energy Abroad
What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I could not have dreamed of having a better study abroad experience (or even travel experience) than the one that I had with the GREEN Program! The lectures were interesting and the "field trips" to local energy plants were incredible and insightful. Not to mention the trips that we took throughout Reykjavik and the Southern parts of Iceland were breathtaking, eye-opening, and meant to challenge you - which was awesome. The most amazing parts, however, were the different students you met and the mentality to "live in the moment". I will continue to keep those friends and that mentality because both have changed me for the better.

| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | They didn't dress that professionally in Iceland. That it was dark most of the day. That I didn't need to be worried at all because I had an amazing experience and help from the coolest guides and students. |
