The GREEN Program: Iceland - Sustainability and Renewable Energy Abroad
What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Over the course of the program, I was able to learn much more about the creation of renewable energy and how it was being used. It was great that I could learn these topics with like minded students that were all equally interested in the topic. The people I met were incredibly brilliant and have inspired me to pursue this topic further. The professors and guides were all also very knowledgeable on the topics and Iceland in general. I was very glad that we were able to work on a Capstone Project, which allowed us to apply the subjects that we learned about into actual product designs/ideas. The excursions we went on were amazing and the memories I made were unforgettable.
