It was absolutely worthwhile. I gained new understandings of real-life applications of renewable energy, made lots of new friends, and learned a lot about myself and my own capabilities.

This program perfectly balanced academics, outdoor experiences, and relationship building!

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Most expenses were taken care of in the overall program cost, but Reykjavik is expensive as a tourist!

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I had invested in a lightweight, waterproof backpack and brought a pair of waterproof, but not warm, pants. The weather is crazy unpredictable, but beautiful!
