The GREEN Program: Peru - Water Resource Management & Sustainable Practices
I learned so much about the environment, the culture and practices of Peru, and myself. This program not only taught me about the environmental conditions in Peru, but also what scientists and activists are doing to improve these conditions. I also learned so much about the Inca Empire, and how their advanced system operated. This is only a fraction of what I learned. The program is soooooo worth it! I enjoyed every minute of it an seriously did not want it to end. I gained to much confidence in myself, my abilities, and skills. I met amazing people, and saw so many beautiful sites.

Education was very hands on. First, we had a one hour or so lecture, then we got to visit sites that utilized what we learned. |

All the hotels we stayed at were clean and roomy. Some places didn't have warm water, however. |

Our tour guide not only took us to big touristy areas like Machu Picchu, but also took us to local markets and restaurants to show us how locals of Cusco shopped and ate. |

There were pharmacies everywhere we went, especially in Cusco. |
