What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned that many of the problems we experience worldwide can be fixed at the local level with small improvements.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Our professor had an excellent grasp of the information he was teaching and managed to compress massive amounts of information into a single week.

Absolutely incredible!! Everyone was helpful, flexible, and professional.

Our tour guide for Peru made us feel extremely welcome and helped us to integrate with the locals.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I had no health issues during the program, but I am confident they would have been dealt with very professionally.

* Safety:

I felt incredibly safe. Many of us went out at night to explore the nightlife of Cusco and never ran in to any trouble.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

This program opened my eyes culturally, educationally, and professionally. It pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way possible. I couldn't ask for better memories!

Every necessity was included in the price of the program. The only money you need is for souvenirs or any extra drinks/food you might want to buy.

We were almost required to speak Spanish when we went to the markets, but there was no necessity for it other times. It was mostly used if you wanted to practice.
